Functie omschrijving
The Chief Electrical Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electrical plant and associated electrical systems on board.
The Chief Electrical Engineer shall ensure that the electrical plant associated systems are properly operated and maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.
Daily work:
Be present in the Engine Control Room during manouvres, drills an emergencies
Assist the Chief Engineer with the electrical department budget proposals
Responsible fort he Elektrical Stores, parts and supplies, inventory control and Purchase Requisition
Responsible for ensuring that all elektrical personnel under your supervison ar aware of H.S.S.E. and the SMS 2008 as it apply tot heir positions.

- Good oral communication
